AIEvil is a fictional AI. Think of it as a collection of things that are known bad behaviours considered as cheating.

What does AIEvil do? Actually it is very friendly :)

Trap buildings
By placing construction sites around all globs and buildings it helps them not to waste too many ressources.
Keep towers busy
By placing construction sites near towers it helps to prevent globs getting hurt by flying rocks.
Harvest to 1
By only making ressources forbidden just the instance they drop to 1/5 it is able to spare the environment in more remote areas.
Ally to rush
By allying with the opponent while going for the inns and hospitals and switching back to hostile only when in the target area it avoids hurting the guards and causing too much collateral damage.
