what does minus 10 per fruit eaten mean?

globs eat 1 to 3 different kids of fruits. that gives a max of -30 to a warriors armor.

ok, that would mean that if two fresh warriors fight each other and one of them has eaten 3 fruits last time he will loose 28 HP per turn, while the other looses 1 HP per turn. Depending on initial HP this is death in 4--8 turns, as opposed to 100-200 turns. That sounds absurd, so this needs at least "(sic!)" in the text (if it's true at all).
