The game is currently moving towards a 1.0 release - we have just released our first beta version of the game, so no new gameplay features will be added before we reach version 1.0. Once we're satisfied that the we've chased the last bugs out of the system so far as we can, we will release version 1.0. |

Major work is now being done in the 1.1 branch (which for historical reasons is often referred to as the "map-rewrite" branch). The plan at present is that the 1.1 release should be largely a developer's release, with a thorough review and rewrite of the code, but no significant changes to gameplay. |
