Translation improvements

  • Polish translation updated.

Gameplay improvements

  • The old tutorial has been completly revamped. It is now more in-depth and covers more aspects of Globulation 2.
  • Fixed a bug which prevented players to be dropped correctly when someone is disconnected.

General improvements

  • GUI improved following the comments submitted by Ellen Reitmayr which can be found at Usability issues.
  • Fixed a bug which made compiling on Windows difficult.
  • Fixed two bugs with YOG. One that prevented the game name from being displayed correctly, and another that prevented players in YOG from seeing people in IRC.

Miscellaneous improvements

  • The red X on the campaign and custom game screen has been replaced with the text "Please choose a map".
  • You can now click 'cancel' to go back to the menu screen from campaigns or the tutorial if you decide not to play it.
  • Script state is now saved, which means scripted maps such as the tutorial can now be saved and loaded.
  • New SGSL keyword 'space', which simply put halts any other actions until the spacebar is pressed.
  • Several bugs fixed.
  • Dumping mean CPU usage in Engine.log.

Translation improvements

  • Swedish and Portuguese translations added.
  • Danish, Spanish and Catalan translations updated.
  • Catalan and Spanish versions of tutorial added.

Gameplay improvements

  • Improved the shooting system of towers.
  • Improved the way the explorers fly around, so they tend to explore the least known areas.
  • Improved the way the warriors spread into guard areas and war flags, so they go to the least known area.
  • Death animation added.
  • Unit/building cost tuning.
  • The schools now upgrade both "harvest" and "build" abilities in only one time in the building.
  • The barracks now upgrade both "attack speed" and "attack strength" in only one time in the building.
  • A hungry unit that goes into an inn, or a damaged unit that goes into a hospital is now counted as healthy in the statistics.
  • New terrain graphics
  • Improved events (unit/building attacked, conversion, etc); the name of the team is now printed on conversion and ctrl + space iterate through the positions of each event type.

General improvements

  • You can't join a game if you have different gameplay configuration files than the game host; in order to prevent a world de-synchronization.
  • When you can't join a game in YOG, a reason is printed
  • Nick autocompletion in YOG chat
  • Better GUI theming.
  • Better handling of IRC protocol.
  • New Perlin-Noise based random map generation for island, swamp, craterlakes or river theme maps.
  • Fixed bugs 13584, 13679, 15172, 15197, 15198, 15201, 15208, 15211, 15222, 15267, and 15376 as well as the stat overflow, lost condition, fruits conversion bug (now you can't convert an enemy unit if you can't really feed it), and path line bug (the path lines now warp correctly to the target and appear correctly on big maps and very small maps).
